The flywheel uses air resistance to produce a smooth, quiet ride that responds to your effort. The damper functions like a "gear" that lets you adjust the feel of your ride. Unlike most stationary bikes, the BikeErg includes a clutch so the flywheel continues to spin—just like a real bicycle—when you stop pedaling.
The powerful PM5 Performance Monitor connects via Bluetooth to a wide range of apps, including Concept2’s free ErgData and third-party platforms like Zwift. The BikeErg includes an integrated smartphone and tablet holder that securely accommodates devices from small phones to large tablets and is quick and easy to adjust. The holder is removable, allowing the PM5 to be mounted at the end of the handlebar rail if preferred.
